|Recommended: YesI have lived here for 5 months and have been very happy so far — I feel safe, comfortable, cozy, and it is conveniently located to where I work or like to visit. The views are beautiful, the facilities maintained well, including the workout room, pool, and laundry is easy to do.

|Recommended: YesComfortable, stylish, clean, safe, diverse community — I thoroughly enjoy living at Lafayette Towers. The design of the building, apartment layouts, and grounds are unique and efficient. Each apartment has floor-to-ceiling windows, which give an amazing view of the city. There is also a community-feeling. It's diverse - you'll meet new and interesting people who are friendly and welcoming. Finally, the staff who keep up the grounds are fantastic. They are dedicated to keeping the premises clean and safe. There are only two downsides to living here, in my view. First, the temperatures inside can get pretty hot during the summer. There are good AC units in the apartments, but they aren't central air, so they don't cut through the most extreme summer heat. This is offset by the pool, though Second, guest parking is more of a hassle than I wish it was. There is a thorough check-in process for guests and the guest parking lot is a bit of a walk. I don't think there's really a good alternative to this system, though, as it keeps the buildings safe and ensure residents have their own parking available. There are downsides everywhere. And aside from these two relatively minor ones, I think this is a great place to live in Detroit. I definitely recommend it.

|Recommended: YesWork too much Great price for a workaholic — Hello, Lafayette is great for the price. I have a studio on the lower floor. It is a good apartment for those who just need a place to stay in the city. Not here to stay for more than a year. There aren't any bugs for the price of the rent. They aren't as accommodating as I would like but they get the job done. Water is hot, rent is cheap and these are cement walls so the only sound I get is coming from the street. Neighbors stay out of your business. The management tries to do things.

|Recommended: YesTower in the Park — Having lived in several downtown neighborhoods in Detroit, I can honestly say I appreciate living in Lafayette Park the most. I love that it is close to downtown, Eastern Market, Dequindre Cut, RiverWalk, all while offering the respite and tranquility of a beautiful urban park. What I enjoy about Lafayette Towers is the historic architectural design, the floor to ceiling windows, apartment size and layout, workout facility, amazing roof deck and pool, and of course -- the VIEW
|Recommended: YesAn affordable chance to live in a Mies — An affordable housing solution for any young professional. Employees are amazing and friendly. The only issue is the heating and cooling during those trying times when the weather is not cooperative. Otherwise two thumbs up.
